A Play of Concrete, Color and Light

Designed as a contemporary Airbnb apartment in Prishtina, this project reimagines urban living through a balance of functionality, comfort, and a distinctive architectural identity.

The apartment brings together the living, dining, kitchen, and sleeping areas within a cohesive spatial composition, creating an environment that is equally suited to short-term stays and everyday living.

At the core of the design is the contrast between raw materiality and vibrant color. Concrete-textured surfaces establish a calm and restrained backdrop, while carefully introduced shades of blue and orange define the character of the interior and create a subtle dialogue between brutalist influences and contemporary urban living. Custom-built furniture, integrated elements, and curated artwork reinforce this identity while maintaining clarity throughout the space.

Natural light, framed views, and a carefully selected palette of materials contribute to an atmosphere that feels open, welcoming, and visually balanced. Every intervention was considered to maximize the apartment's spatial quality while providing guests with an experience that is both practical and memorable.

Together, these elements create an interior that combines a subtle brutalist language with a contemporary urban character, demonstrating how compact living spaces can achieve both functionality and a strong sense of identity.
